Glass Repro Table

Code named the Mustang project, the Mustang first prototype was developed in 14 Months. It started its Life as wooden prototype to capture Books up to 60cm by 90cm and 25cm thick with gentle pressure on the pages, gentle to the binding.

After testing it in our Lab for thousands of pages, we had the chance to officially use it at the Arxiu Històric Municipal de Tarragona. The Archive was happy with the quality of the images and the gentle pressure applied by the glass mechanism. The test was successfull and we have then decided to make it into 3d Project and build it.

Over the Last 20 Years, we have experienced and used lots of photographic equipments, some with pleasure, other with disappointment. Leading Brands decreasing their build quality and trying to tighten their customers around software and clouds solutions.  

We only needed a proper machine, sturdy, reliable and free from software and cameras bundles: we like Freedom. It didn't take long to realise the matching name to our machine was Mustang.
